UNDERCOVER connects the 18th and 21st century for Fall Winter 2016
The Japanese cult label, UNDERCOVER has just released it's Fall Winter collection, welcoming the newest of seasons with reinterpreted art pieces from Belgian artist, Michael Borremans. Outwear being the predominant focus of this collection, the brand brings it's symbolic reconstruction of the average jacket with it's labelled name and for this season, a range of 18th century art work.
The Fall Winter collection mirrored Borremans infamous paintings with it's use of muted colours and it's abstraction of solemn-looking faces. Rediscovering the core of the Belgian paintings and adapting them in a 21st century format, UNDERCOVER created the ideal collection connected by culture, mystery and most importantly practicality.
