Raf Simons and Adidas just predicted where your next $300 is going
Raf Simons has adapted the classic Stan Smith sneaker with a monochromatic colour palette. Harnessed by three white fastenings to re-imagine the signature Adidas stripes, the trainer features premium black leather and matching laces. In past seasons, the collaboration has seen a much simpler approach to the shoe, using a classic green and crisp white for it's exterior, or for the bolder choices of metallic silver and a rainbow of pastel tones. Simons has also introduced a limited colour of a blue shoe with red fastenings and a dark green with white fastenings, which has said to be "a more luxury way for Raf to show his love for the old velcro Stan Smith." As one of the most worn trainers of 2015, that has graced the streets of fashion week and overly filtered social media posts, a few too many times, are these not so understated Stans worth $325 when you're going to spend most of your energy buckling them up? If so, purchase them here.
