Jimi Hendrix, one of the worlds most legendary guitarists has left behind many legacies, and now his Mayfair apartment has become one of them. The 18th century house where he lived with his girlfriend, Kathy Etchingham, has been reconstructed to an accurate representation of what his bedroom specifically looked like when the musician was alive. Persian rugs, Victorian shawls and ashtrays fill the space where Hendrix spent most of his time over 45 years ago.
Now his home will open their doors to the public and will become a museum of the late guitarists legacy. Expect unseen photographs, an interactive studs and his well used acoustic guitar.
