After recently launching their line at retail store, Liberty of London, British brand, Bruta has released their 19th century inspired lookbook for Fall 2016. Taking references from explorer Ernst Haeckel and his biological illustrations, the imagery features Victorian references of ruffled high necks, clinched waists and delicate embroidery. The unisex collection features delicate shirts that feature printed motifs featuring designer and founder, Arthur Yates' hand paintings “We are the pots and shirts people. The match might be unheard of, but for me it was a way of bringing my two worlds together." Inspired by the primitive nature of beauty, the one year old brand, always links it's collections with the art world in order to give the brand image integrity and inspiration, hence the biting of the apple and floral celebrations in the Fall 2016 lookbook.
