Last year, Opening Ceremony released a Fall Winter 2015 special collection paying homage to Kodak and now OC has just unveiled another Kodak range. Dropping a Super 8 film camera-inspired capsule collection, the line features sweatshirts, tee's emblazoned with different features of a Kodak camera, such as their famous logo to the inside cartridges. Why the obsession with the Super 8? The brand explained upon the release that "By the ‘50s, home movie cameras were slowly making their way into family vacations and parties. When Kodak’s Super 8 was introduced in 1965, the masses were ready to take on a cheaper, more convenient device that was also foolproof. This meant less jamming and interruptions when loading and shooting on a 50-foot cartridge. While the Super 8 was discontinued in 1982 due to the rise of digital cameras and mobile phones, the camera has since become a valued collector’s item." Keeping Opening Ceremony's signature box branding on the side of the shirts, the genderless collection is now available in stores and online.
