The only duo that signify rare relevance in fashion today have now collaborated on a pictorial guide to symbolise their friendship. Photographer, Willy Vanderperre has created a box named '10 works for Raf Simons' of photographs for his long term collaborator, friend and as who he states 'brother', Raf Simons. Recalling their first encounter, Vanderperre said “I met Raf on a terrace in Antwerp, next to the cathedral, he sat there with some mutual friends we have. They invited me over for a drink. Though we didn't share a word the whole evening, we were very intrigued by each other. The next day, we met again, shared thoughts and became friends.” After 20 years of working together, the design duo that have both created some of fashion's most iconic visuals, either it be photographed or on clothes, both Belgian, the limited edition box pays tribute to both artists, that represents “reflection of post-zeitgeist, past-present-urgency, and neo-nostalgia for the future.”
In partnership with IDEA, the exclusive box contains ten prints, with an edition of 25 signed and numbered copies of which Vanderperre had to settle on only a few out of hundreds, stating "I had to choose the ones that moved me the most".
