Introducing the new season with brightly textured chairs, Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat and everyone's favorite Belgian, Raf Simons, have once again collaborated on a collection, this time for upholstery textiles. Conceived as a suite of diverse yet complementary tones, weaves and textures, the eleven core textile designs are ideal for contemporary interiors with a multitude of inventive combinations. Taking references from Italian architect, Franco Albini, the collection showcases a range of chairlift seats, a sofa and chairs in a palette of vibrant yet muted hues. Having worked together last season on an accessories line consisting of coloured yarns of scarves, pillows and throws, this time around, Simons and the Scandinavian supplier of all things textiles, focused on warmer, more conceptual forms of domestic designs.
