Dropping its final batch of campaign images, New York based Pyer Moss showcases it's Spring Summer 2016 visuals in a very culturally relevant form. The luxury sportswear inspired campaign named 'Together' transfers current social issues regarding racism, onto it's signature graphic leather jackets. With a narrative based upon unity, the SS16 collection stuck to it's original colour palette of black, white and red hues, which were highlighted through jackets, tee's and shorts. Reacting to fashion, as apposed to forecasting it, founder and designer Kerby Jean-Raymond spoke out about the social occurrences For me, it’s like, what’s real for you? I’m not getting inspiration from things I’m not experiencing," he says. "I’ve done things in the past…I would make certain statements that I didn’t really relate to me and it felt more fake. [Now] I use my personal experiences and I use my personal stories to create art. I appreciate and stand by it more.” This very relevant Pyer Moss collection is now available in store or to purchase it the digital way click here.
