New York based media platform, Complex has just announced that is has been bought by publishing corporations, Verizon and Hearst. With a yet to be disclosed amount, the youth based magazine that focuses on music, sports, fashion and the sneaker culture is said to be bought for $250 million to $300 million according to certain outlets. Splitting ownership equally between the two companies, Complex's CEO dash founder, Rich Antoniello will remain in charge. The pop culture based publication has been profitable since 2010, with 300 million monthly views on their digital platform and more than 50 million unique monthly visitors, it's easy to see why the media empires, Verizon and Hearst want to takeover the popular magazine.
