Vetements is continuing with it's sell out season by announcing it will be showcasing a Haute Couture collection in July. The now overly hyped label will be merging both men and womenswear to react to societies genderless movement next season at Paris Fashion Week. WWD confirmed the announcement “The collection will involve different elements including some Vetements interpretations of couture.” With it's questionably priced pieces for it's ready-to- wear, the fashion market can only imagine what creative director Demna Gvasalia will price the most likely ripped prom dress for Couture Week. Reiterating the fast fashion cycle and it's commercialised impact, HighSnobiety described the news as being " one of the biggest developments in the ongoing streetwear revolution that’s turning the fashion industry on its head." But will the brand of the moment be able to conquer the luxury market with it's renowned aesthetic of the underground youth?
