Fashion futurist, Jonathan Anderson, who is currently at the helm of his career, juggling both creative director roles at Spanish brand Loewe and his own label, J.W Anderson, spoke exclusively to The Business of Fashion. In celebration of his cover shoot, entitled 'A Connected World;, the Irish designer talks to Business of Fashion founder Imran Amed about the digitalisation of fashion, and the way of which technology has impacted his design process.
With the constant question of "How does our increasingly interconnected world, with its opportunities and its challenges, impact the way we create, communicate and consume fashion?" Anderson speaks about being the first millennial (he's currently the youngest designer) at LVMH as well as his target consumer and his approach to ensuring they're desires are fulfilled. “Today’s creative director has become more of a consumer of information in search of the new, weird and wonderful. It can be online, libraries, markets, bookstores.” To read the full interview, pick up the latest print issue of The Business of Fashion or do it the digital way and click here.
