Since revolutionising the French house of Saint Laurent, Hedi Slimane no longer holds his helm at the luxury label, instead Italian- Belgian designer Anthony Vaccarello does. Having worked previously at both Fendi and most recently Versus Versace, the designer has stepped in as the latest creative director of Saint Laurent. Now his first line of work has been released; a monochromatic campaign.
Shot by Collier Schoor the two images show no form of clothing, instead, they're shot with a clean cut, minimalistic aesthetic. The questionable move leaves consumers wondering whether this will be the direction that Vaccarello will go in for Saint Laurent, continuing his usual work at past fashion houses. Set to debut his first ever collection during Paris Fashion Week SS17, more campaign images are set to release tomorrow.
