Actor, author, poet and everyone's dream teacher, James Franco, has revealed him and his band, Daddy are releasing an album inspired by The Smiths. Composed by Franco's old classmate, Tim O'Keefe, are set to release their 10 track album on March 18th. “We loved the sound of the English New Wave, especially The Smiths. The album was meant to reflect that, but with our own twists. The experiences of youth play so well into this sound. ‘Lime Green Dress’ is about the terror and frisson of losing one’s innocence to the bad boy.” the artist says. So what does literature genius James Franco sound like on a relatively melodic track? Apparently according to his band mate O'Keefe, "spacious and atmospheric" with "traditional pop/rock instrumentation."
