A$AP Rocky directed a 12 minute mini movie
A$AP Rocky has just released his latest song which also turned into a 12 minute mini movie directed and starred in by the rapper himself. Entitled 'Money Man' the film is softly narrated by a French woman called Rina, with a black and white theme throughout, the short film follows the lives of trapped lives in a world of crime and misfortune.
Shot in northwest London, the film was directed by AWGE, A$AP Rocky's creative collective and also starred Skepta and French actor Said Taghmaoui. According to Red Bull music (where the song was recorded) "Cozy Tapes" has been a labor of love and devotion for Rocky. The project, which features multiple A$AP Mob members, was initiated by close friend A$AP Yams, who died suddenly in early 2015. While there’s no release date yet for "Cozy Tapes," we’re one step closer today with the release of the film "Money Man," which includes two tracks from the album. To watch the full film click here.
