Inside Rick Owens' new store through the lens of Michele Lamy

In celebration of moving from one street to another, Rick Owens documented his brands location move through the eye of his better half, Michele Lamy. 'I've always designed all our stores myself but this time I asked the Hun to design it' he explains. A two minute and forty three second visual of the process, Lamy is seen organising the new store with a team of crate moving men and interior designers.

At first Lamy's husband Owens was sceptical about having her design the Soho based store 'In the past I've been frustrated by Hun's patchy communication and wildly freestyle approach but I also recognise that was my first attraction to her- a primal instinctive energy that I lacked'. The 8,000-square-foot space has been made purely for the brands' furniture line, a heavy built, tribal esque interiors that Owens started in 2007. Following the intimate unravelling of the new space, the journey has been labelled by the creatives as ' a story about creation, conflict, collaboration and love'.
