A short film of psychedelic, contemporary dance has been released in celebration of Gosha Rubchinskiy's latest collaboration with Italian eyewear brand, Super Sunglasses. 21 year old skater, photographer, filmmaker and long term collaborator of Rubchinskiy's, Julian Klincewicz has directed the mini movie of solo dances.
Continuing their lo-fi, high impact aesthetic, the advertising campaign merges dance and fashion together, of which the accessories brand as described as 'like a ballet'. Highlighting the importance of cultures and subcultures colliding together, the video symbolises the collision of youth through the mixing of clothes and societies identity with it “In the 90s or 80s, it was separated: football fans were football fans and skaters were skaters,” said Goscha Rubchinskiy “But now things are changing, you see skate kids wearing football clothes and you can see football fans wearing skate stuff. Cultures mix, subcultures mix.”
